Tarrant County: Check your polling place
Tarrant County cut nearly a third of its Election Day vote centers, including one in Euless, so your usual polling place may be closed on Nov. 3.
By Staff · October 15, 2026
Euless voters head to the polls Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the Joint General and Special Election, polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. — and this year, more than most, the door you walked through last time may not open. Tarrant County has cut its Election Day vote centers by nearly a third, and one Euless site is gone from the list.
Any registered Tarrant County voter may cast a ballot at any open Election Day location — countywide vote centers, not one building assigned per home — and the list is set anew before every election. This year the county will open 224 Election Day vote centers, 92 fewer than the 316 used in the 2022 midterms. Early voting drops to 47 sites, down from 50 in 2022.
Tarrant County commissioners voted 3-2 in September 2026 to approve the smaller list, and on October 13, 2026, a judge denied a request to restore the 92 eliminated sites.
Roderick Miles, Tarrant County Commissioner for Precinct 1, opposed the cuts. In remarks reported by local news outlets, Miles said, “Nearby does not always mean accessible. When government makes voting harder, government bears the burden of proving why. That burden has not been met.” Miles has called the reductions “modern-day poll taxes” and said Precinct 1 — whose communities are primarily Black and Latino — “takes the brunt” of the closures. Reporting on the approved list noted that the Election Day sites were evenly distributed among the four county commissioner precincts.
Tarrant County Elections Administrator Clint Ludwig proposed the cut. He said he weighed site availability, prior turnout, distance between locations, accessibility, and geographic distribution, projecting roughly $1 million in taxpayer savings, according to local reporting; he also acknowledged officials did not assess the effect of the cuts on Black, Hispanic, or low-income voters.
The baseline: November 2024
In the November 5, 2024 Joint General and Special Elections, Euless voters had seven Election Day vote centers. In the low-turnout November 4, 2025 constitutional-amendment election only three were open, so for most neighbors, last time means the seven sites from 2024, not the three from 2025.
What changed in Euless
Euless has six Election Day vote centers on November 3, 2026 — one fewer than the seven open in November 2024.
Tarrant County’s smaller list removed Life Connection Church at 208 Nutmeg Lane, which was open in November 2024 and is not on the 2026 list.
Two other Euless sites kept their addresses but the voting room moved:
- King of Kings Arabic Church, 1401 North Main Street, stays open, but voting moves from the Fellowship Hall — used in 2024 and 2025 — to the Kitchen Hall.
- Euless Family Life Senior Center, 300 West Midway Drive, stays open, but its voting room changed from the single Arts and Crafts Room used in 2024 to Arts & Craft Rooms 2 and 3.
Euless is divided into 21 voting precincts, but because Tarrant County uses countywide vote centers, no single precinct is assigned to one building — any Euless voter may use any open site.
What hasn’t changed
Four Euless Election Day sites are unchanged from November 2024:
- Bear Creek Elementary, gym, 401 Bear Creek Drive
- HEB ISD Auxiliary Services, 1350 W. Euless Blvd
- South Euless Baptist Church, 1000 Simmons Drive
- South Euless Elementary School, 605 S. Main Street
Euless Family Life Senior Center at 300 West Midway Drive, the Euless early-voting site on the county schedule, remains at the same address, though its room listing changed this year.
Where to vote now
Anyone who voted at the now-closed Life Connection Church at 208 Nutmeg Lane can cast a ballot at any of the other open Euless sites. There is no single replacement building; with countywide vote centers, any Euless voter may use any open location.
The full six Euless Election Day sites for November 3:
- Bear Creek Elementary, gym, 401 Bear Creek Dr
- Euless Family Life Senior Center, Arts & Craft Rooms 2 and 3, 300 W. Midway Dr
- King of Kings Arabic Church, Kitchen Hall, 1401 N. Main St
- HEB ISD Auxiliary Services, Training Rooms A–D, 1350 W. Euless Blvd
- South Euless Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 1000 Simmons Dr
- South Euless Elementary, library, 605 S. Main St
Euless early voting runs Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30, 2026, at the one Euless early-voting location listed in the county schedule: Euless Family Life Senior Center, 300 West Midway Drive.
For the two room changes, the address is the same but the door on the ground is different: at King of Kings Arabic Church, look for the Kitchen Hall rather than the Fellowship Hall; at the senior center, look for Arts & Craft Rooms 2 and 3 rather than the single Arts and Crafts Room.
Check before you leave

Voters can also call Tarrant County Elections at 817-831-VOTE (8683) or email [email protected]; the office is at 2700 Premier Street, Fort Worth, TX 76111.
The Texas Secretary of State’s My Voter Portal at teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov and votetexas.gov let any Texas voter confirm registration and polling details; the state voter line is 1-800-252-VOTE (8683).
Any open vote center works. Run the street-address lookup and confirm your nearest site before you leave the house — that is what keeps a changed door from costing a Euless neighbor a ballot this year.
